Why I'm a Registered Nutritional Therapist
After several years addressing and researching my own personal health goals I completed 3 years of study at the reputable College of Naturopathic Medicine (CNM) in Edinburgh and qualified as a Nutritional Therapist. At CNM I was trained to understand how nutrients and food influence the function of the body. Functional medicine principles were taught to enable us to address the root cause of symptoms in a science based approach.
CNM is accredited by the Nutritional Therapy Council (NTC) which sets standards of training and education that meet the National Occupational Standards for Nutritional Therapy.
I'm a member of and regulated by the British Association for Applied Nutritional Therapy (BANT) and a member of The Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC). I can provide corporate programmes, talks and also one to one consultations. As part of these memberships I complete Continued Personal Development through attendance at seminars, conferences and educational webinars. I am continuing my studies with the Institute of Functional Medicine and to date have completed the additional following accreditations:
AFMCP-UK 2018 Graduate
IFM Reversing Cognitive decline Advanced Clinical Training
Cytoplan Licensed Practitioner for The Brain Health Programme
IFM - Gastrointestinal Advanced Practice Module - 2019
