Brain Health - prevention is key!

"There is increasing recognition that neurodegenerative diseases, which manifest clinically as dementia in later life, have their origins in midlife, or even earlier". This is a quote from a recent research paper looking at the correlation between lifetyle and cognitive decline: https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S2352873718300155

The team at CogMission (www.cogmission.co.uk) are working with Cytoplan to bring you The Brain Health Programme. We are holding an introductory talk on Wednesday 26th September 2018 (7.00pm - 8.30pm) at the Edinburgh Training & Conference Venue, 16 St Marys Street where you can hear Dr Johnn Briffa speak. He will discuss the important factors which affect brain function and mood, taking into account diet, physical activity, stress and sleep. If you are then interested in finding out about key nutritional strategies for reducing your risk of Alzheimer's disease and other types of dementia you may be interested in signing up for the Brain Health Programme.
